The unit is full of educational and environmental information of all the awarded beaches in Pembrokeshire. With a short purpose made DVD playing continuously on a flat screen TV. There 5 films in total depending on what area the trailer is in, there are also five maps and five fact sheets that are displayed on the walls inside, with numerous educational and environmental leaflets.

Exploring rock pools can be a fascinating beach activity, especially for children. Check out the Seashore Explorer booklets published by the Countryside Council for Wales which give you points for spotting creatures, great fun!But please remember that rock pools contain living creatures, and their habitat is vitally important for their survival. So if you are going rock pooling, please follow these guidelines Return all rock pool creatures to where you found them Replace rocks and stones carefully if you turn them over Don't leave creatures in jars or buckets of water for any length of time Don't drop litter in rock pools
With so many lovely venues to choose from you could leave the picnic at home and treat yourselves but if you can't resist them there's plenty of places perfect for picnicking and so much delicious food to take why not?

Pembrokeshire has a multitude of blue flag beaches designated for their safety, amentities and cleanliness and when you’ve stared long enough perhaps to work up an appetite pop into one of the nearby cafes, pubs and restaurant to discover what fresh produce Pembrokeshire has to offer. A wonderful time can be had beachcombing for shells (see mermaids purses, cockles, dog whelks, razor and oyster shells) and driftwood at Aberafan or take a refreshing swim. Aberafan has been recommended for bathing for the second year running by the Marine Conservation Society in its Good Beach Guide.
All the Yacht clubs offer a wide range of water activities, which include dinghy and cruiser sailing, motor boating and kayaking, and most run a Royal Yachting Association accredited sailing school, which introduces both children and adults to sailing and offers a wide range of courses to suit all abilities. Erbyn hyn mae'r uned symudol ar waith, ac wedi bod ar ei thaith gyntaf yn ystod Wythnos Bysgod Sir Benfro. Mae ei hail ymweliad wedi ei gynllunio ar gyfer 27 Gorffennaf (10am) i Draeth Niwgwl.
